Classes of Hemorrhagic Shock

1. Class I Hemorrhage (EBL 0-15%)
Normotensive, normal RR, HR <100, minimal symptoms(perhaps slightly anxious)
2. Class 2 Hemorrhage (EBL 15-30%)
Normotensive but often with narrow pulse pressure, tachypnea, HR>100, mildly anxious
3. Class 3 Hemorrhage (EBL 30%-40%)
Hypotensive with decreased pulse pressure, tachypnea, HR>120, anxious to altered
4. Class 4 Hemorrhage (EBL >40%)
Hypotensive with decreased pulse pressure, tachypnea, HR> 140, confused and/or lethargic
