Scarbossa's Criteria

These criteria are useful in detecting AMI in patients with pre-existent LBBB. For the definition, concordance and discordance are determined in comparison to the main direction of the QRS complex.

They are:
1. ST elevation > 1mm in the presence of concordant QRS
2. ST depression > 1mm in V1, V2, V3
3. ST elevation > 5 mm in the presence of discordant QRS – This finding alone has been found to not be adequate to support the diagnosis of AMI
